With hindsight i think alot of these angered responses could of been avoided , maybe perhps intorducing the LXmonth at same time as X10 with this "option" was just bad timing.
Dont worry im sure things will carry on and people will still be able to race each other, all it takes is to for people to communicate all this will die down im sure.
As for the much recycled arguement thats going on here ,understand its an option, accept it and learn to understand that sometimes other people want different things.
Having the option i think, will help those that race for the enjoyment of simulating the experience of real driving to its fullest , knowing everyone around you is on an equal footing is somthing that makes it more worthwhile.
Look at teh balancing with TBO before this ... as an comparison on game psychology , you were doomed in xrt or rb4 unless you had good skill. now ... its so very close each car having advantages and disadvatantages. = better racing.
I know people have the complaint of FPS , if forced to use cockpit view
but what is possible , you want devs to make it so it runs on pII-450 with 60fps ? im sure its possible but lets remove the physics and cockpit etc
Sure people cant afford stuff , but i dont think thats a major issue for majority of serious users i see online,and for those that it is, cpu's and ram and good vga has never been so cheap!
Forced cockpits can only improve some of the driving i see online & even my own , to prove i uploaded 2 hotlaps using cockpit veiw and broke my pb 4 times in the proccess , fluke or just better spacial awareness ?
Also from my own personal experince those using cockpit or bumper view generally have much tighter car control when racing doorhandle to doorhandle.


so to summarise

(+1) for client to adjust seat position height/forward/back

+11111 for people to stop and thinking about themselves before posting. Instead of knocking it down think of ways to make it better

Nice program , very handy indeed i lost my old parser that mazco made , may i ask is it possible for when MPR is exported, to have the option in championship to select additional data output ie fastest lap or total time and car etc ?
that would be pretty groovy

A few things worth mentioning and asking.
Which wheel are you using , what settings are applied in the the control panel and what settings you have applied in LFS ?
Also try adjusting your FOV using the 5/6 keys to get a setting your comfortable with.

Gaz00m , couldnt agree with you more, everyone gets impatatient, and those that love this game want it to achieve what it aspiring and currently is doing. Being the best online race sim (imo)

Yep was pretty funny looking back p1lot, the ones that complain are the ones that cant drive without shadows, same goes with wind, you cant please everybody all of the time everytime

I dont mind if wind is high off low or if its day or evening, driving in different conditions is somthing ive done since s1demo,
the olny times its really neccersary i guess to have 0 wind is when hotlapping.

You should look around for servers that run this though meanie i know 2 off top of my head that enforce this all the time

Renku ,thanks for getting in here, your probabally the most prolific hotalpper i know/knew.

Im not complaining , im trying to make this a positive thing , i dont understand why the balancing in the official is not set for SP/MP for cars affected, it is really like driving 2 different cars, different braking, different suspension, pressures etc, yes it was like that already in hotlapping , what im trying to get accross is now not only do i have to contend with basic set up differences (hotlap set and race set) there is ballast , its making it very very hard work.

And how long will this period last > till patch y ?

Renku surely you can see the benefits if scavier were to release official patch that set the handicaps in SP/hotlapping etc and reset charts for cars affected, its a win win win situation surely ?

I really cant see the problem with that ^ charts are going to be reset in patch y anyway.

And jack 3500 laps is alots , but i have 5000+ on just one track in FXO
The FXO like ajp71 says , is godlike round corners and under braking, this is where you really need to push hardest (not on throttle btw )

Example take blackwood , i can keep up and beat XRT`s you gotta time your attacks v carefully, so far with restriction limit ive managed i think 1.23.9x , should be hitting mid to low 24 if your driving well. (no draft)

IF you dont hotlap then please dont try and reply Paranoid Android. i dont think you understnad this at all

Think ive found a strange bug, if i join a server that i have admin privilages on, and if i type "/end" it isint initialised until i enter a vehicle.

ive tested on my own server and our teams hosts, and its repeated same.

(patch-x/XP32/64-SP2)
